The Yalta Game (2010)

A one-act play by Brian Friel based on Chekhov's short story Lady with a Little Dog, performed in the Dixon Drama Studio in York.

The Ash Grove (2007)

I wrote and directed this play at the Drama Barn in York. It was shortlisted in the final 12 for the National Student Drama Festival in 2008.

I directed this dance-based production of Ionesco's classic play in the Drama Barn in York. Our hero, Berenger, desperately holds on to his individuality as all around him transform into Rhinoceroses (or is that Rhinoceri?). Produced in collaboration with choreographer Kate Womersley.

The Park Keeper (Belt Up Theatre, 2008)

I wrote and directed this new play with Belt Up Theatre at the 2008 Edinburgh Fringe Festival

As You Like It (2006)

This production of Shakespeare's comedy at the Drama Barn in York was an ambitious, and highly rewarding, collaboration with costume designer Katherine Sheen, choreographer Kate Womersley, lighting designer James Hirst, and composer Rosie Brown.

Miss Julie (2005)

I directed August Strinberg's classic play in the Drama Barn in York. Miss Julie joins the servants in their revelry on midsummer night and enters into a dangerous liason with her butler Jean.

Woyzeck (2005)

Buchner's unfinished play saw a poor soldier driven to murder by his tormentors in the intimate Drama Barn in York, with a cubist-inspired production design setting it neither here nor there.
