Who am I?
I make films, theatre productions and multimedia installations for business and pleasure. I'm based in the UK as a freelance director and operate a creative enterprise, 'Nik Morris Associates', producing media content for entertainment and promotion, and offering startup companies and sciences & humanities researchers ways to showcase their achievements.
Values
I believe in forming strong relationships with clients in order to discover and share the passion behind their businesses and projects, and communicate this in creative media outputs. As a director and writer I am obsessed with storytelling, developing dramatic images and performances, and creating work that reflects life's dynamic range of emotion and humour. In particular, I value collaboration with actors and other creative professionals, striving to learn about their respective crafts in order to better communicate as we produce work.

An online video I directed and animated to demonstrate the Brush DJ smartphone app developed by dentist Ben Underwood, and built by Appware.
Tres B - Lonely Man (2012)
Music video I directed for the new single 'Lonely Man', a 'soulful floor filler' from artist Tres B signed to Roundhouse Records. The video was produced by Art War Entertainment Ltd.
The Park Keeper (Belt Up Theatre, 2008)
I wrote and directed this new play with Belt Up Theatre at the 2008 Edinburgh Fringe Festival

A music video for the first single from singer/songwriter James Harker's debut album 'The Red Room', to be released in 2012
Goodnight Gertrude (2012)
A short documentary I directed for the University of York Music Department highlighting first-year students tasked with staging a professional-scale production of works by Gertrude Stein in their first five weeks at the institution.
